The Dallas Museum of Art, Arts & Letters Live hosted Joanne Harris, the acclaimed author of Chocolat and its sequel, The Girl with No Shadow. Chocolate Secrets owner, Pam Eudaric-Amiri, introduced Joanne Harris. Pam said, "I was absolutely, unashamedly, giddy. Joanne Harris is magical, generous and bursting at the seams with talent."

Jennifer Ohlson is the Chief Sommelier for Chocolate Secrets & Wine Gardens, Inc.

Jennifer is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a graduate degree from Princeton University.

Jennifer's interest in exploring the nuances and complexities of wine was appreciably piqued while attending the world’s premier culinary college, The Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York (the “CIA”). The CIA’s excellent wine program, and nurturing instructors, coupled with grand tastings in Manhattan at the world's finest houses, helped to broadened Jennifer’s wine horizons and devotion to R.L. Stevenson’s “bottled poetry.” 

Jennifer’s curriculum vitae includes wine director at a leading liquor chain in Dallas, and a rewarding and enriching position with The Mansion on Turtle Creek as Food and Beverage Manager and sommelier. Jennifer has also worked for auction houses and as a personal consultant to private clients. Jennifer has continued to sharpen her already formidable wine skills by testing for, and receiving, a Level II designation of Advanced Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Jennifer leads wine and chocolate pairing classes every Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chocolate Secrets. She also offers Chocolate Secrets customers the unique opportunity to schedule private, in-home, wine consultations. During the consultation, Jennifer will organize your wine cellar, buy inventory and assemble wines for auction. You may also schedule private, guided wine and chocolate pairings with Jennifer at Chocolate Serets.

Fauchon

Chocolate Secrets now carries Fauchon! We import a wide variety of chocolates, cookies, preserves, teas and coffee from Fauchon in France. So, come on by.  We will be receiving regular shipments of Fauchon and will update our website very soon to show all our great new Fauchon products! 

Marquise de Sévigné

Chocolate Secrets now carry an extensive line of chocolates from Marquise de Sévigné!  In 1892, Clementine and Auguste Rouzand the daughter of a chocolate maker and son of a controller of mines decided to purchase a small chocolate shop in the thermal resort town of Royat, France. Auguste soon found he had a passion for chocolate.
